Yemen plane crashes into Indian Ocean – 150 feared dead
A Yemen Airways Plane has crashed in to the Indian Ocean near the Comoros archipelago . The plane has 150 members on board and all to be feared dead . Yemeni state carrier Yeminia Air operated the Airbus 310 .
The plane flying from the Yemeni capital Sanaa was scheduled to Comoros capital Moroni at about 0230 (0030 BST). “The plane crashed in the sea 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled time of arrival in Moroni,” the official told .
Comoros islands are located off the eastern coast of Africa between Madagascar and Mozambique , about 300km (190 miles) northwest of Madagascar
